OK. A good reason. But at times your home airline may not be the best solution for you. Earning ff miles/points from non flying activities is a big earner for many.

Have a reasonable expiry rules.

Flying Returns points never expire as long as you keep travelling with us. We’ll extend the expiry date for all your points by 24 months from the date of travel every time you take an Air India flight (not valid for reward flights).
