Last Labor Day weekend, my boyfriend and I went to Napa and Sonoma. We stayed at the Hilton Santa Rosa which I got on Priceline for $55/night. It was a very nice hotel and they had no issues with two males sharing a bed.
On Priceline these days, a lot of people are getting the Hyatt Vineyard Creek (also in Santa Rosa) for $50-55/night with very favorable reviews.
While not in the heart of Napa, it's reasonably convenient to both Napa and Sonoma.
