I just tried transferring some UR points and got the "please call the number on the back of your card" error message. Chase rep said that "this is a recent thing, this is the way going forward. It doesn't matter if you have previously transferred UR points to a partner, if you have a business card you need to call us to initiate a transfer."
Meaning, if you want to transfer from an Ink card to any partner? But not from a Sapphire card account?
Why would they make that a manual process? First they broke/took away the ability to transfer from my business card (Ink Cash) to my personal card (CSR) and force me to engage an agent every time I want to make a “combination” of points, and now this? (I don’t yet have an Ink Preferred, but was planning to get one to replace my CSR)
