I cancelled an award booking this morning. I received an email saying that the refund request had been processed and that the cash paid minus a AUD39 fee would be refunded.
There was no mention of Avios - I assume that the Avios are refunded - just that I assumed that when I got that email that these would have been reinstated immediately
Just want to make sure I didn't waste 90,000 Avios and that they will return
Actually - Just got an email asking me to ignore the previous email and shows a refund of 90k due and has been credited - no issue anymore
