The SQ website still lists the BA lounge, and as BA still operate two evening departures I suspect they're happy for SQ to pay to operate the lounge in the morning. (Unlike VS which pulled out of EWR entirely and so had no reason to maintain the Clubhouse.)
One advantage of the BA lounge over the old Clubhouse is it does have windows...
