Do you have two checked bags or just one? I'd probably check, although once I had an airline tell me only one wine bottle per checked bag. Granted, they were full wine bottles and the airline was concerned about breakage leaking everywhere. In your case, breakage wouldn't disrupt operations or damage anything outside your bag, so they probably won't care.
