I'm from the US but based in Amsterdam, all my fam is in NYC so I fly back and forth often. I used to have United Silver, but lost it last year, so now thinking of switching to KLM, especially since the CC offers Silver status. I already have 22 XP from this year and as I understand, I'll earn 100XP from the card SUB, so that will take me to 122 XP? Or, once I become Silver from the CC, the counter will reset back to 22XP and will show me on track to Gold?

I may have some biz flights coming up between the US and Ams so I'm thinking it could make sense to try for Gold. To reach Gold I'll need to earn 158XP by 12/31/24 right?
