I counted five seats that were INOP and covered in a white "NOT TO BE USED" cover. More than a few of the available seats were in a pretty terrible condition and my own seat was not as secure as one would expect, with some unexpected recline when weight was applied to the backrest.
I know the plan was to whittle down the A319 numbers substantially, presumably with these ones intended to be scrapped, hence perhaps not addressing the interior condition. Has that changed now? If they are being kept on, here's hoping they are amongst the first refurbs with the new seats.
There's a rumour floating these may be inline for refit with the latest seat due to be rolled out this year. No idea if that's true but really hoping it is. Don't expect these to be next inline to retire though since they're amongst the younger of the A319 fleet. According to Jethros the next 2 to retire are G-EUOE/F
