It's one thing for Aegean to test new routes with their pre-existing fleet which would incur little to zero capex. It's another thing to introduce a small fleet sub-type to do that.
Well, there only two theoretical possibilities why they bought the new aircraft, either to use them on new longer routes, or to use on existing routes. Unless they plan to lease them or something, which does not make much sense.
