I am having the same "Change Seat not available" problem. Its about 24 hours before the flight and my seat says (pre-assigned) and I am unable to change it grrrrrrrr. I had the same problem when I was trying to check in online for my mom a couple of weeks ago. I hope this isnt a trend. I will try back later to see if it makes a difference.
