WeChat will attempt to translate pretty much anything in any recognized written language you throw at it. I suppose lots of apps do this (and some much better than wx), but it's good enough and if you're in the habit of using it to translate messages in groups, it becomes second nature to use it in restaurants, pharmacies, banks, etc.
