One of Air Canada’s catering providers, Gate Gourmet, is experiencing a labour disruption at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ). This unfortunately means there will be some modifications to your Signature Class dining experience on your upcoming flight.
Here’s what you need to know:- After take-off, you can expect a streamlined service, presented all at once. This includes an appetizer, a choice of four main courses, cheese, and dessert.
- Our meal pre-order service is suspended, including all special meal requests other than Kosher meals. Customers with dietary restrictions are advised to plan ahead, as our menu offerings may not meet all dietary needs.
It seems as if they are claiming all the food items are there, but they are simply providing a reduced service experience in order to reduce crew workload.
