take note changing nominees requires deleting them (for a fee) unless your are KFEG and above.
Based on what i've read on some forums, if you had already issued a ticket for an existing nominee, and you later remove this nominee, that nominee can still fly, provided you do not touch the ticket i.e. no further changes, cancellations etc. Coz if you attempt any changes to that ticket, you will run into trouble with miles deduction / redeposit etc.
