I don't know where I'll be later tonight, but most likely either TST area or Mongkok. I want to take the bus back to HKG for my 1 AM flight. My plan is to head towards HKG around 7-8 PM. Where do I take the A bus in TST or Mongkok or Yau Ma Tei? I guess I could take the MTR all the way to Tung Chung and then take the bus there but seems less straightforward than taking the bus.
If you are flying out on Cathay - they do have in-town check-in at Hong Kong Station now. Then you can take the MTR to the airport. You do need an Octopus card.
My flight was at 1 am last month. I hung around town until 10 pm and still had lots of time to make it to my flight.
