Maybe it's just me, but as someone using AI on a daily basis, I do not want AI coming up with my rebooking options. If they give human agents an AI autosuggestion or the like, or if they use it to triage people needing to contact an agent, maybe that's a net benefit. But I flatly will not use rebooking through chatgpt. It's a terrible idea if they connect it directly to the rebooking engine. I mean, have you seen what the current change flights function does?
As long as you can see the result before accepting it, then it's basically just natural language powered search, which is something that LLMs are actually quite good at. I'm unlikely to personally use it because I can search faster and more efficiently with dedicated input, but it could help the average pax and free up human time.
