The unfortunate mobile-wallet points-posting screw-up is proving to be a bonanza for me. I called in today to ask about the extra points due for some mobile-wallet purchases made in late March (before I removed and then added back my A/R account to Google Pay), and was told that there will be another adjustment made later this month. The US Bank rep then -- without any prompting from me -- offered an additional 5,000 bonus points for the inconvenience. That's a total of 14,000 bonus points I've been given since January, when I first called in about the mobile-wallet points-posting issue.
