We are 2 pax booked in CW on tonight’s BA12 SIN-LHR. Return of an Avios 241 booking. Email overnight from BA saying flight is cancelled and we are re-booked with Finnair economy via Helsinki a day later.
Any chance BA would rebook in Singapore Airlines (looks like seats available on 22nd but obviously likely to go quickly) or other non-OW club seats?
Any other advice about what to request / exactly what are our rights / BA’s obligations here?
All very stressful due to family drama we need to get back for plus bad backs making Y seats a nightmare.
Very grateful for any succinct advice.
I hope you got away
Things to remember in such circumstances are that you are in charge. Your choices are as follows and BA cannot force you to choose any particular one.
Re routing must be in the same cabin on any airline. It does not have to be one world.
