i had this recently- the absolute cheek of it. Just because one is pro-active and calls them with a suggested re-route … I was furious. GGL line was shut but that was how the Indian call centre annotated my booking! Voluntary offload my a***.
The risk of this should be low. Agents will have to make notes in the reservation why the OP was rebooked to QR and most likely it will be noted as "invol. rebooking due to cnx BA12 21APR". If rebooking is marked as voluntary it will be inconsistent with the no recalculation of the fare/"NO ADC" payment note.
