I was able to get 2 executive economy tkts to BKK. LAX-SIN-BKK-SIN-LAX in August. I got them back in November. I was very, very lucky. I had a very nice lady and she pulled up every single flight and was able to book us for 7 days. She said she has not seen that for months. When I call back to check on my waitlisted DL flights out of MCI the agents can never belive that I got those seats especially on the new executive economy. We got DL flights to LAX ok but on the return could not get out of LAX for 3 days so we bought a 59.00 tkt on AA to LAS and was able to get back to MCI via ATL on the return. But every DL agent I have talked to said it is very rare to see someone get SQ tkts and if so it is only one.
