Reports from "X" (Twitter) say that there are currently mass public protests going on especially in BOG.
(Political issues).
Here is one:
We are supposed to go to BOG (and then CTG) towards the end of next month. Have never been to Colombia before.

Does anyone have any thoughts / knowledge about these issues in BOG?
Concerned about safety (of course); and will it be worthwhile to go as tourists if these issues persist for a long time?

Hotels are still cancelable; Flight tickets can be changed if needed.
