I would say it doesn't matter too much, although my preference would be to be in a row further away from the toilets as they tend to be a noisy area. You're almost certainly going to have the row in front recline into your row, but I'd say you don't really notice that when lying down in the Skycouch.

Main thing as you've said is to have some noise cancelling headphones as that area of the cabin will be noisier, maybe an eye mask if you need to block the light. Apart from that you're good to go.

I'm a bit like you in that I don't care too much for plane food (even in premium cabins) - I find eating anything more than a snack or two on the plane makes me feel ill so I just eat before and after. I don't drink at all, apart from water and the finest diet coke as an occasional in-air treat, so the alcohol isn't important to me. On that basis I really like the Skycouch as it's a nice way to get a sleep. In fact if there was a way to use upgrades to get Skycouch instead of Premium Economy/Business, or if it were more economical to buy outright as a solo traveler, I'd just do that instead of bothering with the premium cabins.
