The fine print (below the table) states fees for total market values below $250k, $250k-$500k, $500k-$1M, and $1M-$2M. I got the idea that values less than $5M were for old accounts and/or when market fluctuations caused account values to decrease.

Cannot remember specifically, I don't think I asked about an exact minimum, I wrote in another post on this thread (#326): “… big differences were: PB were not agreeable to no fee 100% self-directed account and seemed to have a minimum of $10 million. Partners were quickly agreeable to a no-fee (if no trading) 100% self-directed account and seemed to have a minimum of $1 million, …”.

I did ask Partners how they would make money from me if I transferred assets (stock and no-load mutual fund positions) and did no trading, they said they wouldn’t make anything, I would be a (their words) “loss leader”, presumably in the hopes of future changes to my investment patterns and generation of fees. PB seemed to have no interest in a loss leader.
