If you end up claiming EU compo be very clear that your proactive re-booking requests is NOT noted on the booking as a voluntary offload and thus compo not eligible.
i had this recently- the absolute cheek of it. Just because one is pro-active and calls them with a suggested re-route … I was furious. GGL line was shut but that was how the Indian call centre annotated my booking! Voluntary offload my a***.
