6. If my flight leaves after 3:30 (say 11:00 pm) we just have to hang around in MLE for several hours? Does MLE have a lounge?

Neither Hyatt resort in Maldives is really the best option within its cash pricing band. If you're considering Alila because you have a bunch of Hyatt points to burn, if you're going before next February DM me and I'll give you a GoH cert as they are especially not the best option as a non-Globalist. The value of the free breakfast alone is worth a lot of money.
