Ha ha ha... I think that she could well be correct about how incorrectly they calculate this. That's the way the document in Sept 23 detailed the process... so the backend calculation logic must be based on that.

Every time I cross INR 500K in spend, I make a payment so that I have enough credit limit left in case I need to use the card in an emergency. So I have been paying off my card mid month almost every month. I've always received the bonus based on my total spend & not on the amount generated at the end of my statement. I pointed this out to the agent on the call. She of course ignored that bit completely even though I brought it up a few times.
Its almost as if they thought it would be easier to give me this logic & if I said nothing then they would have to do nothing to fix the situation. But now that I have told them they are wrong & I want their logic in writing, they will have to rectify the situation.
Lie to make the problem go away. If that doesn't work then be forced to fix it.
