Here now.
The good:
was upgraded to a very nice 1 king villa, but I had to ask. The room and property are nice. Breakfast is a good spread, but there's a few issues to note. I have not dined on property other than that. Parking was painless. There are several beautiful cats on property that seem to be somewhat well taken care of. The overall impression is that this is a great use of points.
The bad: breakfast area is freezing cold. Some of the food that should be warm is strikingly not that warm, even though they're in warmers. There is also insanely loud music being played at Breakfast. It's obnoxious and not appropriate for a resort full of families. This isn't Cancun. The lack of window blinds in areas of the rooms means that you will be awoken by sun at 5 AM each morning. Stupid, dumb design.
The ugly: my 2nd night, my entryway flooded with water rather quickly. I called FD immediately. They sent a guy out who confirmed the shower above me was leaking water into my room. They wanted me to move. I had already unpacked and settled into my room. I told them I did not want to move and I would just take some towels and deal with it. They said okay. Idk where they would have moved me to. Probably another villa.
For 20K, good deal. Just bring a lot of money if you want to consume any food that isn't breakfast. Like every resort, this one has little issues. But staff is nice and seems to care.
