My points posted as well but they seem to be off by a huge margin. I had a little over INR 800K spend in the Feb cycle, all of which should be eligible spend. There were 2 large purchases which made up the bulk of the spend. The first was a charge of INR 425K on the Emirates website & another was INR 180K on Travel Edge. But the bonus points that posted for the month of Feb were only 8.5K.
I called them to report this & of course they are going to take 3 working days to get back to me, which means we will have passed the 20th April deadline. Its either Axis being very sneaky or its their regular incompetence. I would love to give them credit for the former but in all probability its the latter.
I got a call today regarding this problem & their response of course was as idiotic as ever. The agent claimed that the bonus points that posted are correct since the due amount on my Feb statement was around INR 140K. I told her that INR 140K was the due amount because I paid off the balance of my total spend before the statement was generated, but the total spend for that cycle was INR 800K. She then went on to say that the bonus points are calculated on the due amount at the end of the statement & not how much I have actually spent.
So I asked her what would happen if my spend for the month was INR 800K & I paid that off entirely a day before the statement was generated. Would I receive no bonus points for the month? She fumbled a bit with her response & then reluctantly said that I would not receive any points in that scenario. I asked her to give that to me in writing over email. She said I would be receiving a written response soon. I once again asked her if her statement above would be part of the reply but she avoided that question completely & again said I would be receiving a response soon.
Seems like the person looking into my query didn't even bother to check what my total spend for the month was. They just checked the due amount & assumed that was the total spend & decided the bonus points that posted were correct.
