While it is an aircraft I love to travel on, the sheer number of instances where an issue causes long delays or cancellations is starting to become a bit ridiculous. The current availability of the fleet is as follows:

G-XLEA - Just back from JNB this morning, but was in the hanger from Tuesday to Friday this week
G-XLEB - Hasn’t flown since last Saturday (13th)
G-XLEC - Currently returning from SFO
G-XLED - Returned from Boston this morning
G-XLEE - Still in Manila
G-XLEF - Returning from DFW, but didn’t operate at all last weekend (Saturday to Tuesday)
G-XLEG - Returning from LAX
G-XLEH - Returned from MIA this morning
G-XLEI - Returned from SIN this morning
G-XLEJ - Hasn’t operated a flight since returning from JNB on Friday morning
G- XLEK - Just arrived in JNB this morning
G-XLEL - Due to operate to SIN yesterday but went tech

So we’ve got 1 tech, 2 in the hanger in LHR and 1 in Manila - so basically BA appear to be operating with a fleet of 8 out of 12 planes!

Interesting, but surely this has to be compared with what's on the schedule at the moment? Having 8 in action on any particular day could be exactly what is planned - or indeed a pretty poor showing. This thread seems a little quieter than it was which makes me think it's the former, but I'm not familiar with what destinations the A380 is meant to be serving right now.
