Would like suggestions? Do we do

1) entire time in Gothenburg city with a day to the archipelago or
2) 3 days in Gothenburg and then go on a three day car trip

Background
Small family with no mobility issues visiting Gothenburg. First time in Sweden. We tend to be city people, car rides are fine and also half days exploring parks or forest but we don't camp nor run around in technical gear.
