Sad to hear the rooms are still so bad. Was here in 2022 and same thing. Nasty, stained carpets bathtubs with narrow footing hard to stand in, portable AC unit duct taped to an open window. Desperately overdue for renovation even then.

The positives were the beds were comfortable enough and the breakfast was well above par plus the evening snacks.

For those who prefer walking, it was a great spot to get just about anywhere central.
