First Time SkyCouch - what is the best row or does it not matter?

Hi! I usually fly United but they want $8,000 for business class on a flight from the US to Christchurch next year. I've always wanted to try the SkyCouch. I have read that it can be a little noisy since kids and babies generally fly Coach and that there are some people who 'steal' empty SkyCouch seats. But it seems like the only affordable way for me to deal with such a long flight. I am short so don't need more leg room. Don't really care about the food, either. So, besides bringing some noise cancelling earphones, any other tips or considerations? And is there a 'better' row? Seems to be wide open this far out. I understand that seats in front of the couch will most likely be reclined. Maybe the last row in the forward cabin would let me recline and not bother anyone ALTHOUGH near the toilets might negate that plus. Mayb the ones in the 'blue' which are not over the wing in case I want to watch clouds? Thanks for any help from anyone who has 'done' the SkyCouch seats!
