They only paid after 2 months of back-and-forth between Austrian and the ground handling company at Nice airport, and numerous emails and phone calls, and luggage content lists to complete, including original invoices. They initially claimed that the luggage had been delivered to me during my stay in Nice (which of course never happened). Then they said it got lost in Zurich (apparently they sent it from VIE to ZRH to NCE). Then they said it "disappeared" at NCE airport. Horrible communication from them. The luggage was never found.
