If true, this is far more offensive, as we had at least two people come up and tell us they were going to "work on it" and that it was working fine. Feeling the walls, telling us the A/C was indeed working. Completely condescending and complete BS.
I've stayed at many Cat 4 Hyatts, including Hyatt Centrics. I'm not expecting anything resembling "full service," but if there is no air conditioning and you cannot get any ventilation into the room by opening a door or window, else you get a mosquito infestation, I would consider this a large problem.
Totally agree with those who have said that the the price is excellent for the location, but for the fact that the place was (for us, at least) borderline uninhabitable.
