It was really weird that the flight priced so much lower than the published price once we called in to get the stopover. I am not pleased to have so many miles stuck in FB when I am so careful to only earn transferable points. The only airline cards I own are the 4 AA cards and I wouldn't have those if Amex/Chase/etc transferred to AA.
