The (hopefully temporary) recent demise of lucrative retention offers is well documented. SUBs have been similarly affected although perhaps to a lesser extent. 150k (NLL) SUBs were quite common 1-3 years ago, today not so much.

Yes, most lucrative retention offer I believe ever seen to date. I was one of those that got the 70k/$5k retention offer and wish it would still be around. Actually like that (70k/$5k) better than this 100k/$15k because of the lower spend but I'll take this new one anytime as I need to ease off on new apps with Amex at the moment so such a retention would be most welcome.
I recently received several mailers for 130k/$15k and 200k/$30k so these NLL apps still exist. My relative received 150k/$15k with NLL and she took it.
And I'll join the ones that are hoping as well
