Searching for “Springhill Suites LaGuardia closed” sent me here. I made a reservation here many months ago and just received a vague email out of the blue that the property was “closed” and they canceled my reservation. Similar to the OP in 2022, rates for comparable properties have skyrocketed since I booked.

What would cause a property to close twice unexpectedly in 18 months? This seems hinky.
