Thats really the one benefit I miss from Ultimate days is pre boarding. Why not have Ulti group 0 and J/plat in Group 1 and gold/silver in Group 2 then so on and so on.
But I don’t think we would want the boarding monstrosity of Delta either I think. And even with that many boarding groups, when I was flying what was officially group 1 (still called ‘premium’ boarding groep at the time), for some reason half the gate was empty by the time first class was allowed to board. I literally felt like I was in the Key & Peele skit. “Anyone with a blue suitcase may now board”
