It's unbelievably bad.

UI
  1. Space Utilization: The same information now takes twice as much space
  2. Grid Lines: AA seems to have decided to revert to the mid-2000s with needless gridlines and boxes around objects
  3. Clicks: Viewing a 2 leg journey has gone from 1 click (opening the reservation) to 3 (opening the reservation, expanding the details for each leg)
  4. Print: the Print function is broken
  5. The Partner airline PNR is cannot be copied
Technical
  1. Data: Loading a reservation is multiple megabytes of data. 4-7 mb.
  2. Load and hide: The old layout is loaded and then hidden via CSS.
  3. CLS: Due to the above, the page has extensive Cumulative Layout Shift.
It's not just that it is bad; it's weapons grade horrid - how did this go through design, coding, unit testing, UAT, and, despite the litany of issues, get a thumbs up for production? This is, incredibly, a worse effort than put in by a bunch of AA Cabin crew.
