This was the same as us yesterday! Ticket was booked using QF FF points. EK cancelled the flight by Thursday 02.00am. the QF sales counter at SYD popped us on that evening QF flight. Yes it was busy, uncomfortable even in row 4 and in economy after a long day (just headed into Sydney for the day) but we got to CHC only 10 hours late or so. Lucky to get on but not exactly EK 380 in biz! Hopefully the return will go much better.
