But I'm not a once a year guest, I do 100+ nights a year and have been Platinum or higher (dating back to Starwood) for 25 years.
Was really hoping to get some factual feedback to the q from someone that might know as opposed to starting a discussion about who is a more or less profitable guest to a given property based on their status.
And I still don't get the whole 'once I've achieved Lifetime Status I'll stop staying with that brand as I'll always have the status', it makes no sense to me. Isn't the whole point of achieving a status level enjoying the perks that go with it ongoing?
