Thanks for the info. Landed at NRT last week and used the e-gates for the first time. Multiple employees tried to usher me into the normal lines even after showing them my TTP card. Eventually another employee came over and recognized the card and walked me to the foreigner e-gate. It took me a minute to realize I needed to scan my passport before it would accept my card, but once I solved that then it went fine.

As for Customs, how is it actually supposed to work with the TTP? I filled out my arrival info on the TTP website, and because of posts upthread, I also filled out a VJW entry to get a q-code just in-case. Once through customs I attempted to ask someone, but they just ushered my to the q-code machine like usual so I just went with that.

Are we supposed to still go through VJW for customs?
