Your return flight is not one to look forward to. In the winter months, it's closer to 15 hours. They have finally updated the flight time for HKG-Europe flights. Fun fact: my HKG-LHR last Dec took 15:29, longer than an HKG-ORD.

I would say the food portions are never enough for me. My routine is to ask for a cup noodle (or two) and a fizzy drink after I wake up. It should sustain you till the pre-landing breakfast.

I was quite surprised when I looked up the prices for PE ex-ZRH to Asia. 1400GBP/1600EUR to JP is rare for ex-LHR. I shall remember this next time I feel like repositioning. The lowest I've ever booked is £856 FRA-HKG.
