I just saw that Lufthansa has 7-abreast in premium economy on their new "Allegris" A350. This makes me even more disappointed in JL's A350 PY, which is 8-abreast. I was already disappointed that they slashed PY capacity from 40 (on the 77W) to 24. Looking at Expertflyer, there are many days when A350 PY seems to sell out far in advance, and I can easily imagine an IRROPS situation where my family is unable to find 4 PY seats on any alternate flight and has to take a downgrade to Y.

I know I said it before, but when airlines decides to buy smaller aircraft and keep the capacity close to the same, this is what happens. Cut a heel chop a toe and the glass shoe will fit....
