Ideally I'd collect TP and Avios for the whole thing, but would then take Delta Skymiles on Xiamen instead of just nothing, if it comes to that.
A QR codeshare of an MF operated flight will not earn anything with BAEC. If you credit to QR you will probably earn some avios which can then transfer to BAEC if you want; best to check the QR forum regarding earning.
Are you sure you will able to credit a QR coded MF operated flight to DL?
