As I said, let the fleecing of premium cabin begin.
The way I view it:
Basic Polaris fare = basic economy equivalent (no refund, no change, no lounge access).
Regular Polaris = What you have now (No bedding, no PJs). Maybe they will unbundle lounge access to make more money now.
Polaris Plus = You get all the frills.
If UA is smart, they'll have a check out similar to rental car companies, want to add child seat, want insurance, want satellite radio, want a ski rack?? UA can just add additional purchasable radio buttons: PJs, bedding, pillows, premium food, lounge access.....
