Yes, the Polaris seat was a huge improvement on what it replaced. Yes, their IT is among the best. But right now, the only clear advantages it has over Delta One is DL’s nonexistent WiFi coverage over the Pacific, and UAs overall better network. While the D1 suite door is a useless gimmick, the D1 seat is noticeably wider than Polaris, and their catering is, at the moment, clearly better than UA’s. Head to head over the Atlantic, I’d choose DL over UA as long as the price is comparable.
