MarkCron you should be all good to do a 30 day visa with a 30 day extension for your 6 week trip. When applying they do typically want to see a return ticket within the initial 30 days, but it doesn't sound like they strictly enforce that. As long as you get the extension sorted during your 30 days there, you'll be fine to stay the full 6 weeks. The extension process is supposed to be doable online now too.
