My reservation was prepaid, nonrefundable. I believe part of the issue is that the card was charged by the hotel, perhaps part of their agreement with Expedia. By the time Amex took the time to check, Drury had left the program, so it appears to them as if I booked direct with Drury. I wouldn't have booked this hotel, especially nonrefundable, if I weren't trying to use the credit. I have no idea how these selections will be charged, or who will stick with the program for a few months. We're fairly loyal to Hilton IHG, and Hyatt, and I prefer booking with them direct. Does anyone know how Marriott and Choice Hotels are working with this credit?
