For art, I recommend Bangkok Art and Culture Center (BACC) and Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA). BACC is easily accessible by taking the BTS to National Stadium and is also free. MOCA is located past Chatuchak, so farther out. It is easier to take a taxi to MOCA.
exactly, that are the two i mentioned above.... MOCA gives a good overview about contemporary artists in Thailand while BACC has changing exhibitions, sometimes more interesting and sometimes a bit less....
