I did not say GH’s breakfast is better than PH’s, but I do put GH’s lounge breakfast spread on par with Girandole’s. The former is obviously a lounge while the latter has very attentive service. I do think Andaz > PH for breakfast buffet, but Conrad trounces them all. And as far as the buffet selection goes, the Grand Club has just about everything Girandole has, plus they always had 2 types of berries (PH just 1) and the pastries at GH are out of this world. I ordered mix berries off the menu at Girandole and it was a meager plate of 25 pieces of blueberry and 8 raspberries. PH does give the additional benefit of cooked to order egg item, which may be important if you like eggs.

The quickest walk I've timed myself making from the PH to Shinjuku station is nine minutes. It's not the most convenient location, but I don't think the station distance is a huge hindrance or a hike.

There's quite a few restaurants in the basement of the PH.
PH’s pool is nice for sure. Just wish there were unobstructed views towards other directions besides just the north. More than anything I need a poolside jacuzzi to jump into after swimming. I still think Andaz has the best pool area.

i did not check out the restaurants in the basement of the Park tower. I should have.

The best thing about this hotel was the view from the room. I had the view facing towards the west, looking directly at the Opera City. The sky was clear but could not see Mt Fuji, tho. Probably better luck in winter time. Which direction view is your favorite from PH?
